Parkiet: Arteria backs on profitability

In this year the company intends to increase profits and revenues. Soon it will introduce management incentive programme. In the nearest future Arteria will call up a general meeting. It will decide on introducing incentive programme, which is being prepared at the moment. – Within less than two months we should be able to tell more about the results we want to obtain by 2012 – says Wojciech Bieńkowski, Arteria's President responsible for sales outsourcing.

 

 

 

Daughter companies get positive results

Priority for the next years is to increase net profitability by a couple of percentage points (in 2008 it was 4.1 percent). Cumulatively, after three quarters of 2009, the group had 98.8 million of revenue and 3.7 million of net profit.

How was fourth quarter? – Quite good, despite the ongoing crisis – says the President. He emphasizes that all subsidiaries finished the year with a positive result. – I expect that this year the group’s results will be better than in 2009. He adds that new, uniform subsidiary management programme should contribute to it. – It started on 1st January. We hope for big savings resulting from it – says Bieńkowski.

Now the group is made of such companies as Gallup call center, selling Citibank’s products, Rigall Distribution company, and Polymus advertising agency. – In 2009 Gallup obtained particularly good results – Arteria’s President points out.

 

The group may become larger

In the meantime negotiations regarding incorporation of new entities to the group are carried on. – Some talks are in advanced stage – says the President. He does not reveal any details. It is possible that in the first half-year decisions regarding acquisition will be taken. The company carried on negotiations regarding purchase of call center. – We resigned from it. It was too expensive – says Bieńkowski. He emphasizes that the maximum amount Arteria is willing to pay for the bought entity is its net profit amount multiplied by five. Money needed for purchase is going to come from bonds sale. – At the moment we are closing a tranche with a value of 5 million zloty – says the President of Arteria.
